	Here are some examples of Infrared Thermography used in process analysis, condition monitoring, non-destructive testing (NDT), and equipment evaluation. They are just a few of the possible ways IR can help you FIND and SOLVE your problems!

NDT / equipment condition examples

These two images show a piece of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) equipment. The equipment is 8 ft. in diameter and carries chlorine dioxide, a very aggressive chemical used in pulp bleaching. Each of the cool spots is an initiated failure of the FRP, approximately 6-12 inches in size. This determination was made without interrupting the process in any way!

Any thermal process or process with a thermal signature can be examined by this technology.

These images of a fire tube boiler exterior show a significant hot area that represents a safety hazard, an undesirable energy loss, and a threat to the longevity of the boiler. It was caused by bracing that had been installed in the end cap of the boiler. "You saved us a boiler replacement."

The integrity of insulation, seals, and gaskets can be evaluated rapidly, reliably, and safely with IR thermography.
